Set up and configure your organization on Sublynk: business details, service areas, and insurance verification.

\n Before You Begin: Have your Tax ID (EIN), business address, and a valid credit card ready.\n
\n

Sublynk has three account types: Network (manage networks of contractors and subcontractors), Contractor (manage your organization and connect with other contractors or businesses), and Subcontractor (join a single contractor bench).

Getting Started

Begin Account Setup

\n

From your dashboard, click Begin Account Setup in the top right.

Add Your Business Name

\n
\n

Add your legal business name, and a DBA if you have one.

\n\n

Enter Your Tax Information

\n
\n

Enter your tax information (Tax ID, ID type, and tax classification), then click Continue.

\n\n
\n Note: If your Tax ID is rejected twice, you will be asked to upload an official IRS form, which Sublynk reviews manually for accuracy and fraud protection.\n

Add Organization & Operations Details

Enter your organization details (primary contact, email, business and after-hours phone, website) and operations details (number of employees, company vehicles, etc), then click Continue.

Add Location & Service Areas

Set Up Your Headquarters

\n
\n

Set up your headquarters: add an assignment email, an after-hours email, your physical and mailing address, and mark whether the location is open 24 hours.

Define Your Service Areas

Define your service areas by selecting states from the dropdown or entering zip codes directly.

Refine Your Coverage Area

To refine coverage, open the zip code selector to draw a radius, pick specific zip codes, or choose counties, then click Use Selected Zip Codes.

Locations & Insurance

Add Additional Locations

\n
\n

Add any additional locations. Include every brick-and-mortar store you operate, using Add location.

Upload Your Certificates of Insurance

Upload your Certificates of Insurance (COI), then click Continue.

\n\n
\n How it works: Sublynk uses AI to scan COIs in seconds, checking auto, liability, pollution, umbrella, and workers' comp coverage and reading endorsements. Anything missing alerts your broker right away, cutting review from days to minutes.\n
\n
\n Note: COIs uploaded by contractors are informational only. For coverage to be authoritative it must come from your agent or broker, so Sublynk contacts them directly to verify.\n

Finish Setup

Invite Your Team

Invite any team members or administrators who will help manage your account, then click Continue.

Confirm and Enter Sublynk

\n

Once your business details are verified in the background, a confirmation page appears. Click Continue to enter Sublynk. Welcome aboard.

\n Why this matters: Sublynk validates your Tax ID directly with the IRS during this step. That verification becomes the foundation of trust for every credential and document you add from here on.\n
