How to Manage Additional Locations
Additional Locations in Sublynk
Sublynk allows users to manage their additional locations within the My Org section of the application. This article will cover what qualifies as an additional location, what data they contain, how networks use them, and how to manage them in the Sublynk application.
Locations vs Organizations
An organization in Sublynk is identified by a unique TaxID. Compliance is based on your company, or TaxID, and Sublynk requires every unique organization to have its own account on our platform. A user may manage an unlimited number of organizations from a single login.
Locations are physical locations housed under a single company, or TaxID. So, if you have one LLC with a single TaxID, but you have a HQ location and 4 additional locations in different places, you would be able to create additional locations to account for these in Sublynk.
Data Contained in Locations
Each location can have unique data that is passed along to a network or other business you are sharing your data with in Sublynk. This includes things like;
- Contact information
- Address
- States serviced
- Zip codes serviced
- Technology ID's such as Xactimate or Symbility
- Demographic information about the location
- Capabilities
How Networks Use Additional Locations
Our network partners use additional locations to distinguish your service areas, office locations, capabilities, and ultimately rely on accurate additional location data to ensure dispatching work to your respective locations correctly.
Some networks will apply a unique ID to each Org and additional location in our system
