How to Upload or Order a Background Check

Summary

Each Managed Repair Network you work with has their own unique requirements for Background checks. Sublynk makes it easy to either upload an existing Background Check or to purchase one through a reputable partner (Checkr).

Navigation

You can navigate to your Background Check profile by clicking on the Background Check button in the left navigation tab of Sublynk, or by going to https://app.sublynk.com/dashboard/background-checks

Background Check Page

Your Background Check page will indicate if you are missing a Background Check required for compliance. Click "Upload" to upload a background check you have on file, or click "Order Background Check" to order one through Checkr.

To Upload a Pre-existing Background Check

1. Select Personnel
   1. If the background check candidate exists in your Personnel already, you should select the individual from the dropdown list.
   2. If the candidate does not yet exist in your Personnel list, click "Add Personnel"
2. Upload a File
   1. Select an image or PDF to upload. All files will be reviewed by our team to ensure they meet the specific requirements on the Managed Repair Network.
3. Click Upload

To Order a Background Check

1. Select Personnel
   1. If the Background Check candidate exists in your Personnel already, you should select the individual from the drop down list.
   2. If the candidate does not yet exist in your Personnel list, click "Add Personnel"
2. Choose a Package
   1. Select the background check package you want to order.
3. Agree to Variable Fees
   1. Depending on the state and local governments involved in a background check there can be variable fees incurred. You can learn more about these fees from our background check partner, Checkr.
   2. Confirm that you understand the fee structure for funning a background check.

Once a Background Check has been ordered, the candidate will receive an email invitation from Checkr to fill out the necessary information needed to run the check. Checkr will email the candidate daily for one week. If the candidate does not respond to the email from Checkr within one week, the background check will be cancelled and refunded.
