Remi Roofing Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

Overview

Remi Roofing has partnered with Sublynk to onboard and credential their contractor network. This document details the requirements your organization must satisfy for every service you may provide for them.

Fees

Every organization will need to maintain an Essential subscription to access the Remi Roofing Network. Our pricing page can be found HERE


  • Background Check Fees - Options for additional screening & drug testing available
    • Tier 2 - $55 per check + pass-through fees
        • SSN Trace w/Alias
        • Unlimited County Criminal Search
        • Global Watchlists & OFAC
        • Sex Offender Search
        • National Criminal Search
        • Motor Vehicle Report
        • Federal Criminal Search
        • Average return time for check is same business day
  • Cancellation Policy
    • Sublynk is an independent platform from your general contractor. We do not assign jobs or offer any guarantees of work from our partners. We do not offer refunds but you may cancel your Sublynk account at any time.

Compliance Requirements

The requirements listed below provide all expected license, certification, and background check requirements. Please review the requirements carefully to ensure a smooth compliance process.

  • Company Legal Name
    • All insurance, certifications, and licenses must be in the company legal name.
  • Insurance
    • COI’s will be automatically requested by Sublynk to your agent/broker. Contractor provided COI’s will be used for reference purposes only and will not be used for compliance verification
  • Licenses/Certifications
    • Licenses and certifications will be required for every state included in your service territory when your trade is a regulated industry at the state or federal level

Detailed Insurance Policy & Certificate Requirements

All policies must be written with insurance carriers who have a current A.M Best rating of “AVII” or higher. Coverage must include:


  • Commercial General Liability: $2,000,000 Aggregate & $1,000,000 Each Occurrence
    • Coverage must include:
      • Primary and non-contributory coverage
    • Copies of endorsements that must be attached to the COI:
      • Additional Insured (CG2010 or equiv)
      • Ongoing & Completed Operations (CG2037 or equiv)
      • Waiver of Subrogation (CG2404 or equiv)
    • Exclusions cannot include:
      • Roofing or solar
      • Residential home
      • Sunset clauses on AI endorsements
      • Broad “your work” exclusion (CG 2294 / 2295)
      • Water and moisture
  • Auto Liability: $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit
    • Coverage must include:
      • “ANY AUTO”, or a combination of “OWNED AUTOS”,  “HIRED AUTOS” and “NON-OWNED AUTOS”
    • Endorsements that must be attached to the COI:
      • Additional Insured
  • Umbrella Liability: $1,000,000 Aggregate & $1,000,000 Each Occurrence
  • Workers’ Compensation & Employer’s Liability: $1,000,000 Employer’s Liability
    • Workers’ Compensation is required regardless of employee count or state limits
    • Stop Gap as required in Monopolistic states: ND, OH, WA, and WY
    • Endorsement that must be attached to the COI:
      • Waiver of Subrogation

Background Check Requirements

Frequency: Every 3 Years on all owners, license and certificate holders, and anyone going to job sites

  • County Criminal Search
  • Federal Criminal Search
  • Global Watchlist Search 
  • National Criminal Search (Standard)
  • Sex Offender Search 
  • SSN Trace
  • MVR

Disqualification:

  • OFAC Watchlist
  • Open or active warrant or probation
  • Convicted felon
  • Convicted sex offender
  • Convicted misdemeanors including deception,theft,  insurance/identity/license fraud, sexual assault, or a crime involving violence
